Hello out there! What's up guys? I'm still slaving away in the sunny south where I swear once again that I will never spend another summer. Heat and humidity are doubly annoying to a fatty like me. I need cool crisp breezes rustling the aspen leaves. Tell me what it's like out there in God's country!

My Gibson Story: Many years ago I owned a Gibson Gospel, laminate maple back and sides, bowed back, solid top. Sounded pretty good, a little dead but after 20 years it was decent accompanyment. I let it go for a song and that was that. I had not given Gibson a second thought since. I have played a couple of Songwriters but found n0thing worth mentioning. Well today, I don't know why, I played a Gibson J-185, like the J-200 but without the flowers. Well I must say I'm impressed! Wicked booming bass and superior midrange. The high end tries to hold it's own but you need to drive this beast to get balance. The thing I love about the Gibson is that slinky neck. My short stubby fingers curl around that skinney neck like a lover! Damn, I think I'm hot for this blonde!
PS- When will Gibson ever string their instruments with something other than these corroded wires! Throw some Elixer Nanowebs on these instruments and sell'em!
