Sorry guys, I stopped checking my blogs for a while after that post. Ovengkol is an african hardwood that Taylor uses on it's 400 series...nice warm resonance, bright treble. The grain is very pronounced, very dark running through the what is almost an orange/tan wood. I had a 410 for a while, then lost it in a gambling scam. I still haven't recovered from that debacle. Followed that up with a 510 but just didn't care for it as much as I did for the 410.
