Just wanted to be the last post on Guitar Talk.

Looks like Guitar Talk has taken a very interesting direction. Of course, getting girls is the reason we all started playing in the first place (oh, go ahead and admit it)! It actually worked out that way for me once: I ended up playing a Buffy St. Marie song over and over again to work my magic.
Anyway, glad to hear the savage beast is soothed.

Lars,
These women from other parts....Was it like a Hank Williams Jr. concert where you have 32 chicks in the front row and among them, you have one full set of teeth? Or would you prefer to remember the moment as if they were a bunch of road-tripping sorority sisters on a drunken binge? Advice: If your guitar amp has a louder buzz than normal, do not get intimate with the mic. My guess, one of the girls slipped around behind your amp and swithed the polarity. You were had!

Today's my last day at work. I'll probably be heading out your way in October. I'll check in before then.
Right now, guitar of choice is between two Larrivee L09's: one if flame maple, the other is has an A-6 pick and is rosewood. Will purchase one or the other a week from Friday.
See Ya!

My early retirement is three weeks away! I've put some money on a Larrivee LV05E at Guitar Center and will bring it home Friday. At some point in Sept. my dog (can be seen here: http://www.tomlove99.blogspot.com) Sniffles P. Love and I will be hitting the road without knowing where we'll end up,("Oh, that magic feeling, no place to go!"). Yeah for me!

"Anybody heard any live music?" Dang Lars, I hear it every freaking Saturday night and I'm ready for a break! "Lady of the Laundry", hmmm....that sounds Catholic. Can I use it in church? Must it be sung while dawning rosary beads?
